Who is Darrell Welch?

Darrell Welch is the Director of Engineering at EXPRO Controls. He has spent three years as an airplane mechanic and has spent five years as an electrician prior to EXPRO Controls. During his time as an airplane mechanic, he learned about hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, and how electronic systems communicate. Additionally, as an electrician he learned how wiring and circuitry were installed, maintained, and troubleshot, how power distribution is run, and learned about electrical connection in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

What does he do at EXPRO Controls?

Darrell creates isometric drawings, works with the design and layout of heat trace systems, and finds customer’s process instrumentation needs. Darrell brings an amazing energy to the office and has positive interactions with those around him and customers every day.

What are some of Darrell’s Interests?

When Darrell Welch isn’t at work, he’s a part time Formula 1 driver on his Xbox, likes to watch tv shows such as anime and The Office, and loves to workout. He owns a golden retriever, named Ruby, who loves long walks and playing fetch. Additionally, Darrell is close with his parents and spends a good amount of time with them. Usually with regular game nights and watching the Saints football on Sunday’s.
